The New Yearling Gets A Name...

Finally a name has been chosen for kate's new yearling. The barn name is Missy (I call her Little Miss though). With the registered names you usually take the dam's name and the sire's name and you combine them as a registered name. The reason behind doing that is because there are a lot of very well know names in the AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association), so when you have a baby that you are going to show you want to give him/her names that will be recongnized byt the judges. With all the being said Missy's dam's name is CL Bonnie Blue, her sire's name is Dudes Roman Pistol...so her registered name will be...Dudes Miss Pistol.
